New 2 U Boutique

December 1st saw the official launch of Leeson Park Nursing Home’s new boutique “New 2 U” .

The home had collected  quite a lot of clothes which were in very good condition with some brand new. Following a discussion with residents it was decided that the home would open a small boutique where residents and visitors could purchase these items.

We thought it would be fun to hold a competition to come up with a name for the new boutique and Josephine Walsh’s name “New 2 U” was unanimously voted the winner.

We hope that the boutique will serve residents of the home who are unable to go out to shop. All of the proceeds from the boutique will go towards  a charity of the resident’s choice.
